Patricia Walter, nee Quirk, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sept. 14, 2016, following a short illness. Patricia was born in The Dalles, Ore. on Sept. 30, 1930. She spent her early childhood on a ranch, moving to town when she was 10. She graduated from The Dalles High School and married Wilford Walter in 1948. Pat was active in Masonic Orders, such as Eastern Star, Amaranth, White Shrine and Daughters of the Nile. She was most proud of her work in the International Order of Jobs Daughters, serving as Grand Guardian of the State of Oregon in the early 1970s. Pat also enjoyed reading, collecting antiques and spending time with her large family.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane, of Vancouver; and sons, David (Pamela) of Beaverton, and Douglas (Marianne) of Vancouver. She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen.
